SEEK teachers run independent classrooms and are experts in their field. They have to be - they're working with multiple ages on concepts with real life importance. They're brave and adventurous, creating something that doesn't exist, blending the best of both worlds - home education and more traditional methods. They're creative and flexible, partnering with your children as they learn and fail. They give their students an un-busy environment where their potential can best be met.
Each teacher is highly qualified and has a background in a classroom setting. Because we trust their expertise and value autonomous classrooms, each teacher will select their own curriculum and pull from their knowledge base to create a rich learning environment catered to their specific class.

ASSESSMENTS
Going along with our educational philosophy, formal assessments at SEEK will be few and far between. SEEK learners are self motivated, and as such, push themselves to be and do their very best. They will be consistently monitored by their teacher and their peers, and mastery of subjects will be audited in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, rubrics, teacher observation, peer critiques and self evaluation. Formal grades will not be given, but communication between teachers and parents will be imperative. Gaps will be discussed on a case by case basis, and parents will be responsible for helping with practice in these areas at home.
